It was a big night for Grant Campbell's boys as Don Bronson & Dale Rosborough, partners in the D. & D, Construction present- ed the boys with their new sweaters. From now on Port Perry Midget (B) team will be known as D. & D. Con- struction. The boys really played hoc- key as Steve 'Tomchishin scored at the 39 second mark of the first period. Roland Skinner made it 2 to 0 at the 11:16 mark. Cal Cochrane made it 3 to 0 at the 14:57 mark. Roland Skinner made it 4 to 0 at 2:30 of the second period, his second for the night. Cam Deeth made it 5 to 0 at 6:16. Stephen Tom- chisin got his second for the night at 9:01 to make it 6 to 0. Bob Young kept the boys moving at the 15:16 mark to make it 7 to 0. "Bowmanville finallly got on the score board at 6:21 of the third period on a goal from Paul Martin, Bowmanville scored two more goals, one from Steve Watson at 13:51 anl Alan Junkin at the 14:07 mark. Dale 'Bronson scored at| 19:45 to finish off the game 8 to 3 for Port Perry. These boys really played a team effort game. If they keep this up they will be had to beat. On Friday night, Jan. 2nd D. & D. Construction travell- ed to Unionville. This is the first time these two teams have met and the D. & D. boys came home with a 4 to 1 win. The scorers for D. & D. were Steve Tomschisin, Cal Cochrane, Chris Waters and Bob Young. The lone Marksman for Unionville was D. Webster. PORT PERRY MIDGET (B) On Monday, Jan. 5th D. & D. Again D. & D. played good hockey beating the visitors 3 to 0. The good goal tend- ing of Ron McNenly & Don Waldinsperger recorded their first shut-out. Cal Cochrane opened the scoring at the 4:32 mark' of the first period from Rol Skinner. At 15:24 Chris Wa: ters scored unassisted at 14:50 of the third period. Chris Waters scored again from Cam Deeth, Outplays Stouffville Team Pee Wees Settle For Tie The Pee' Wee Legion All Stars came from behind twice last Friday night to tie the Stouffville Pee Ween 2-2 The Legion team out played Stouffville but due to the outstanding goal keeping of the opposition, Port was un- able to score. Port's own goalie Barry Heard played a great game in the net, stop- ping several clear cut. chan- ces by Stouffville. Stouffville opened-the scor-|-|- ing in the first period on a goal by Acton. Then Tom Oisen from Doug Christie tied it up in the second. About midway through the third period Stouffville went ahead again on a goal by| Waite. When it looked like Stouff- ville had the game won, Port put the pressure on and tied it up. Christie scoring from Olsen with little over a min- ute left in the game.
