"Mrs. Marjorie Moon had 16 family visitors including the Williams from Goderich and the Lakes and Harold Moons from Toronto with their re- spective families. From the looks of the gang at church on Sunday morn- ing the Durwards must have had a re-union too. Mr. and Mrs. Dane Cox- worth were at home with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Tobin. Mrs. Bagshaw spent Easter with her daughter Mrs. G. Lloyd and Mrs. E. McCaw of Bancroft visited her daugh- ter Mrs. C. Maschke. The two older Pollard children of Stouffville spent the week-end with grandpa and grandma Hunter. John is mobile again and.making good progress but still uses his crutches. ' This. week it was Mr. Ven- ner's sisters wha were visit- ing there. They were Mrs. G. Donnelly of Goderich and Mrs. Ruth Bowes of Owen Sound. Mrs. Bowes was ac- companied by her son Bob. Gordon has already gone. He has taken a position as assistant to the manager of = Woolco store in Hamilton and sta. .d work on Monday so it's "Exit - Sportsman Gordie", Mr. Harvey Monahan is home from the east coast and will be stationed at | good health after 'Camp Borden for a while. Mrs. Wm. Pearson entered hospital last Wednesday for observation and tests and just now we hear that Bob Nodwell is also there. We have no report on either of them. On Thurs. Apr. 9 our old- est citizen, Clara Sleep will be celebrating her 93rd birthday. Mrs. = Sleep has been a victim .of the flu lately so isn't as spry as usual. Guess whose birthdjwis on the 8th. : There was a nicely ar- ranged service in the church on Good Friday but the at- tendance could have been b~tter. On Sunday it was a ~fferent story. Most of the -egulars and many occasion- als were present to make a good-sized congregation. We had a little extra in the music line with 2 anthems by the choir and a solo by Mrs. Abraham, S.S. was withdrawn this week but we suggest to one of the supers that he remem- ber he had a birthday on Mar. 20th.
