Reeve J. Murphy, Mara Township, said a fox had been picked up recently at Atherley by the Ontario Prov- incial Police. It has apparent- ly been killed by a dog which had not been traced. The animal was rabid, he said. ° Reeve Edward Olyer, Reach Township, told of a fox being found in a farm yard. It was too soon, he said, to find out if cattle had been infected. He told of another instance in his area where an animal had had to be killed. Warden Robert Timbers suggested federal authorities be asked to reinstate the inoc- ulation program for pets which was last held about three years ago. On the recommendation of the agriculture and reforest- ation committee Reeve Rob- P fert Nesbitt, Uxbridge Town- ship; Deputy Reeve Mrs. Eve- lyn Speiran, Mara Township and Députy Reeve Norman Lyons, Scott Township, were appointed county represent- atives on the ARDA com- mittee.
