The list for the missionary, Miss Etta Snow in West Africa was dis-| cussed with the articles to be brought in by next meet- ing. - Mrs. R. Mountjoy was in charge of the programme on Spring Stewardship after which Mrs. George Skelding conducted the Bible Study. After the meeting was closed with prayer a dainty lunch and social half hour enjoyed. Winners at the regular card party were Ladies 1st-- Mrs. Will Forder; 2nd--MTrs. Wm. Hopps. Men. 1st--Bert Gibson; 2nd--Ed. Harris, and Door Prize--Wm. Forder. AE AT week. . Later they attended a gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Les Asselstine, Waterioo. On Sunday afternoon the Young Adults went as a group to Toronto to visit the Science Centre. Here they toured the many marvelious machines and displays that attract young and old alike. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Ar cher spent Sunday Dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Archer, Bowmanville and during the afternoon aftend- ed a family shower in hon- our of the future bride of Ronald 'Archer at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Don Flem- ing, Oshawa: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Me- Laughlin and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Toms took Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Dorrell to Malton airport on Monday afternoon when they were leaving for a three week Farmers' Tour of Europe. They plan to visit Russia, Czechoslovakia, England, Scotland and Ire- land. In their absence, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Beacock have moved in to stay with the children.
