The neighbouring town of Uxbridge have shown much interest in the "Young Artist Series" Concerts being pre- sented regularly in Port Perry and have invited them to be presented in Uxbridge. The first concert will be held next Sunday in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and features John Beaton, Vio- linist, The Oshawa Festival Singers and pianist Donna Croxall and Beverley Nolan. The Ontario Beef Improve: ment Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Graeme Hedley as Secretary-Manager of the As- sociation. The post was va- cated recently by Mr. John Wiley, who has accepted a position with the Canadian National Exhibition. Mr, Hedley assumed his' duties the middle of May. Mr. Hedley was born on a farm near' Canfield, Ontario, in Haldimand County. He at- tended the Ontario Agricul- tural College, and graduated in 1964 with a"degree in Ani- mal Science. Following gra- duation he worked in the Livestock Branch of the Ont- ario Department of Agreiul- ture and Food. He returned to the 0.A.C, and obtained his Master's. Degree in Ani- mal Breeding in November of 1968.
