RY Celebrate 40th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. James A. Lee of Greenbank, celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary on June 21, 1970. They were entertained by their family to a Buffet Dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Smith. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beadle of Osh- awa, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cooper Toronto, Mrs. Maud Bray, Whitby, Mrs. Belle Diamond, Brooklin, Mrs. Aleta Lee, Uxbridge, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Phoenix, Toronto. During the evening they were visited by many of their nieces, neph- ews and close friends. The July meeting of the Port Perry 4-H Calf Club was held on Monday, July 6 at the farm of Mr. Vanstrein. Members judged two classes of cattle and all members gave one set of reasons. Two senior members gave their reasons 'to the rest of the Club. The official placings were given by Keith Phoenix and Les Smith. The minutes of the last two meetings were read and the roll call was taken. The next meeting will be held on Mon- day August 10.
