Gordon Goode, this area's representative on the County Board of Education, com- mended the Historical Society for its work on behalf of the board and its chairman who was unable to attend. Rev. W. Mark Reeves then spoke and gave a prayer of dedication. Following the official spe- eches the ribbon-cutting cere- monies began -- all four of them -- to represent the areas and group involved in the museum.
