Those who attended the service at Breadalbane Pres- byterian Church Annual Ser- vice enjoyed a wonderful treat and wonderful memor- ies heightened no doubt by the attendance at the service of the Uxbridge Pipe Band. 'The band came to Epsom after the service for refresh- ments at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allie Christie. We wish to. thank the band for being so generous as to treat their thrilling music. After a bountiful lunch at noon the older ones just wandered and relaxed and had a good visit. No need to try to entertain the young- er guests. They found suffi- cient to keep them occupied in the pond. Near the close of the after- noon a sad duty had to be performed as we bade fare- well to Mr. and Mrs. Stan Weyrich and children. Mrs. Jean Smith presented a gift from the W.I. to Mrs. Wey- rich. Mrs. Annie Bolton thanked Mr. and Mrs. Boadway-for their hospitality. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rodd had to leave early as they were joining their family at Greenwood Park for a picnic at five o'clock. Baird of Greenbank, Miss Ada Ste- phens of Port Perry, Mr. & Mrs. -Harold Kerry of Port Perry were supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. H. Kerry after the Memorial Service at Utica on Sunday. Rev. Mt. and Mrs. Ingleby and children of Bancroft called on Sunday at the home of Mr. & Mrs, Walter Kerry. Miss Darlene Lyons is visit- ing her Cousins the Allin girls at Valentyne for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Keiler of Toronto visited Mr. & Mrs. Enoch McKnight on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Davis of Sunderland and Mr. Clif- ford Davis were guests with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lyons on Sunday. . Mr. and Mrs. Everett Pren- tice of Scugog and Mr. Lloyd ' |Payne visited with Mr, and Mrs. Ray Munro on Sunday.
