» ODDO DAL odd dodo os Prince Albert, Ont Aug. 21st, 1970 Mr. P. Hvidsten, |, Port Perry Star, Port Perry, Ont. Dear Sir: This letter is written in order to express my appreci- ation to Miss Jane Liddell & her assistants for the excel. lent summer programme they have provided for our child- ren. I sincerely hope this suver- vised play can be continued next summer. The children never found time "hanging heavy". Other summers have passed quickly, but with fre- quent periods of "what can we' do now mother?" Wishing Miss Liddell con- tinued success in her endeav- ours and again. "Thank you Jane!" Yours truly, Mrs. Terry Hodgins. [3 To the Editor Port Perry Star Dear Sir: In your issue of 20th inst. there appears a letter from Mr. Larry Doble who quotes from a letter in your issue of 13th inst. as follows: "A large real estate Company, whose local agent is Larry Doble of Uxbridge, taking advantage of a loop-hole in the law governing sub-divis- RS ome EDITOR ions, accomplished etc. etc." Mr. Doble quite misunder- stands the plain meaning of that sentence when he says it gave him credit. Credit is given to the Company. The clause in which Mr. Doble's name appears is a subordinate clause, and could easily be omitted without disturbing the sense. We thank Mr. Doble, how- ever, for informing us as to where the credit is due, I would delve still deeper and say that the registration of the sub-division in question is due to a lawyer who was up-to-the minute in his knowledge of what transpired in legal circles last February.
