A study' made by the company that distributes the signs indicated : that Port Perry would require around 155 signs, Reeve Robert Kenny said that in his opinion money should be spent on some new signs, as the Village has had complaints in the past from the OPP on the condition of the present street signs. He said even if it is not possible to put up all the street signs at one time, consideration should be given to at least some of the streets. The cost of the 155 signs and the required number of posts would be around $3,600. Ther€ was a lecture on the of nursing team of the community which should include: Home Care, Hospital, Public Health, Doctors and all agencies which could be organized toward a common goal of giving patients cen- tred. care in and out of Hospitals, Nursing Homes. This is something for the community to get involved in thinking about. In larger towns and cities this is well organized and in progress, but is slower in rural areas, April 1st is a big day but no doubt it will take at least a year for all programs to be instituted and running smoothly.
