Senior basketball team season at All-Ontario Championship Port Perry Senior Boys Basketball team wound up a highly successful season with participation in the --.All-Ontario Golden Ball Tournament held recently in London. Competing aginst the best basketball teams from high schools across Ontario, the Seniors won one of three games at the London playdowns. In the CH wl Port Perry came up against © Windor Brennan, a powerful team that was to become the eventual Tournament win- ner. Port Perry stayed with Windsor throughout the first half, and at the end of thirty minutes the score was tied 27 - 27. In the second half strong bench strength proved to be - the difference with Windsor pulling ahead to win the game 85 - 55. Jim Zoet was top scorer for Port Perry with 20 points, followed: by Laurie Williams with 19, and Don Sinclair with 10. After the first loss, Port Perry came back to nip Thunder. Bay 52 - 50, and in doing so became the first Georgian Bay Secondary School Association team to win a game at the all-Ontario playdowns in 20 years.
