The Port Perry High School Choir was awarded the William J. English Shield for obtaining a top mark of 90 at the Central Ontario County Music Festival held recently in Sunderland. Miss MacFarguhar of Lindsay, Girls secretary said that a Girls Interdenominational Conference had been held in Lindsay with 160-attending: It was decided to send two girls to-Summer camp, one from Port Perry and one from Gamebridge. The Summer Rally will be held in Gamebridge on Wednesday, June 7th. The Synodica 1, Annual Conference will be held in Lindsay from April 18th to the 20th. A very interesting workshop 'Looking ahead in 1972" will be held on Wed- nesday the 19th. There will be a luncheon at noon on Wednesday and a dinner at 6 p.m. There will be a compli- mentary luncheon on Thurs- day at noon.
