It was suggested initially that the meeting of August 8 be suspended as well, but the feeling was that this would create too much of a backload of business to be dealt with when the Council returned to the chambers on August 22, "ions with Reach Township -of water to Reach and Port "tite to work towards reach: Bre - ing a satisfactory agreement if dias ys Lr AR nd AS fir PLETE LAS prawts 0 P2RT § PER RY #8 Volume 106 -- PORT PERRY, ONTARIO, Wednesday, Aug. 1 0. Also lost in the blaze were 15 pigs, 7 calves and a small quantity of hay. Firemen from the Port Perry, Reach and Scugog Department answered the call about 5:15 p.m. and fought the fire about two hours. The barn was a large wooden structure, and the blaze apparantly started from a spark off a bale elevator motor being used to load hay into the barn. The barn and contents were parti~lly covered by insurance. v a og] A / ) Ng: > rt n Ti AL STI a Srv EER &
