There were thirty- five entries of choclate cakes in the various classes. Once again the Champion Choco- late Cake contest created a lot of interest. Winners in the Ladies' class was Sally Francis, Teenage girls Cheryl Graham and Men and boys - Scott Williams. The Champion cake was won by Scott Williams. This cake was auctioned off and bought 'by Allan Beacock for $26.00. The day was brough to a successful close by two dances. In the arena the young folk enjoyed the mod dance to the music of the Just Us From Oshawa while square and round dancin g was enjoyed to the music of Frank Barkey of Claremont. These dances proved to be most successful financially. President Merrill Van- Camp and his hard working directors are indeed de- lighted with this year's edition of the Blackstock Fair.
