The chairman of the per- sonnel committee, Dan Lon- gauer, was pleased to report that almost fifty players have expressed an interest in joining the new orchestra. There is still room for more musicians, especially strings. The executive is particularly interested in having local young musi- cians take advantagve of this opportunity to gain exper- ience in symphonic playing.
