After her husband, George went to work she and son Tim attempted to chase a cow which turned on them. Tim ended up with many bruises and scrapes but no serious . injuries. Unfortun- ately Marilyn was not so lucky - she is in Oshawa Hospital with a badly broken leg. A speedy recovery as soon as possible is wished to you. . On Sunday Mr. and mrs. Garnet Murray of Cresswell and Mrs. Roy Taylor were guests of the newly-weds Mr. and Mrs. John Devins in their apartment at Burl- ington. Construction has been given the contract and it is hoped to be in before the Harvest Moon Dance. Our next meeting is to be held at Sue Kelligher's home in Oshawa. We are to met in Halloween costume at the Rec. Centre at 8:00 p.m. sharp. Nancy and her group requested the girls to leave the beautiful campfire to serve themselves to hotdogs, coffee and tea inside. We also enjoyed cupcakes, roast marshmallows and peanuts around the campfire,con- cluding another snieyeble meeting.
