The meeting was opened with prayer, by the Presi- dent. These articles will assist the staff in providing better patient care. -The knitting convenor gave her report, and many finished items were on display. A report was given by the Tuck Shop Convenor, with thanks to the Auxiliary members who helped out in the summer, especially on weekends. It was reported that a donation of $100.00 was given to Mr. VanCamp, director for the purchase of fans to help out during the hot weather. It was reported the Fall Conference for the area will be held at the Summit Golf Club, by the York Central Hospital Auxiliary. Of course the biggest item ® was planning the '20th Anniversary Dance' to be held at the Legion, on September 30th at the low price of $5.00 couple. While this dance is mainly being held to commenorate they service of the Auxiliary to the Community, it is not mainly a money-raising pro- ject, although anything left over will as usual go into Auxiliary Funds. The meeting closed with a® draw for the oil painting being raffled. This was won by, Mrs. J. Jordan, R. R. 4, Port Perry. Mrs. Jordan is from New York but has been visiting Miss Ruth Gishler,, Manchester, for the sum- mer. The amount cleared in this raffle was $120.10.
