Bethesda Reach W.I. met at the home of Mrs. Larry Doble, September 27." ~ There seemed tobe a mountain of business -after the summer vacation. Mrs. Parish had done her home- work well and the arrange- ments for the booth at the Fair in Uxbridge, Saturday, October 7th nearing comple- tion, We will also serve lunch at the Keumen Sale. The motto an article no longer in common use was answered with everything from a gold headed cane to an apple peeler. The topic was taken by Mrs. Elaine Cain a Director of the Lake Scugog Historical | Society she brought articles from the museum and a number of interesting slides. We learned a great deal about. the culture of by-gone days. We give a sincereand hearty vote of thanks to Mrs. Cain, With all this work ahead, we think of the message of "The Four Bones".
