5 RRL FW RY YEA + 22-PORT PERRY STAR -- Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1972 South Ontario Plowing Match Plow 41 lands in keen competition The South Ontario Plowing Match was held on the farm of Hugh Baird, R.R. No. 5, "Sunderland. on Wednesday, October 4th, with 41 lands being plowed. This plowing match is sponsored each year by the South Ontario Plowmen's Association. Mr. ~~ Hugh Baird, President, and Mr. Don Dunkeld, Secretary- Treasurer, and the various committees, did an excellent job in choosing the site for the~plowing match, and in* carrying out the details. The plowing match was brought to a conclusion with a banquet in the Greenbank United Church, at which the various prizes and trophies were presented. The Judges for this match were Mr. George Hostrosser, Kitchen- er, and Mr. Winn Timbers, Stouffville.
