The Fair begins on Saturday with the Parade and continues through Sunday and Labour Day Monday September 4. Admission fees are; $8.00 for adults, and $4.00 for children ages 5 to 13. As farms make way for huge sub- divisions, particularly in the Greater Toronto area, agriculture is rapidly disappearing from the landscape. Yet, here in Scugog, farming is still the primary land user and will con- tinue to do so for many generations into the future. This factor supports the optimism of the Directors of the Port Perry Fair in their presentation of our Agricultural Heritage as a major part of the Fair.
