Midgets defeat Stouffville Midgets defeat Stouffville Grant Menzies Hornets played at home on Monday night and played their best game of the season and came up with a 4 to 1 vicotry over Stouffville. The first period Christie scored with the help of Litt then Litt scored with Christie assisting to take a 2 goal lead. The second period Litt scored his second goal with Christie and Jobb assisting. The third period Weighs scored for Stouffville to cut the lead to 3 to 1. Then Brian Campbell scored unassisted to end the scoring penalties in the game were even at six apiece. The first period Bronson opened the scoring with Taylor and Abraham assisting. The' se- cond period Rod Campbell scored unassisted to take a 2 - 0 lead going into the third period. Rod Campbell scored his second of the night with Christie and Taylor assisting then Litt scored from Chris- tie and Jeffrey. Christie scored with Litt and Jeffrey assisting, then Jeffrey scored from Christie and Litt assisting to end the game with Rick Best picking up his first shut out of the season.
