8 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1972 Juveniles play six games winners in 3, loser in 3 After playing Newcastle on December 7th and losing 3 0 the Port Perry Grieve's Gulf Boys travelled on December 8th to Mooretown near Sarnia for their annual Juvenile Tournament. The 1st game was played Saturday morning at 8 a.m. The team they played was Glenwood a suburb of Chica- go and won 4 - 2. After a slow start Jamie McNab opened the scoring in the third period. Gary Schill, Dave Jackson and Gary Lefort scoring the others. Assists went to Cal Cochrane with two and Prosser, Phin- ney, Tennyson, Jeffrey. There were 9 penalties to P.,P. and 6 to Glenwood. In the second game at 9 p.m., Alymer meet the Grieve Gulf Boys and came out the victors with a 7 - 5 victory with one boy scoring all 5 goals for Aylmer. Scoring in this game by Dale Bronson with 2 and Cal Cochrane with 2. Gary Shill, Bob Young and Dave Jack- son got one each. Assist Larry Jackson with 3, Le- - fort, Cochrane, McNab, Jef- frey and Phinney. Then on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 the boys meet Ridgetown and lost a hard game 4 - 3. The statistics were not available for this game as Don Phinney was taken to Sarnia for stiches and left shortly after the game was over. Tuesday, last week the boys played Stouffville at Stouffville and lost 4 - 1.
