The idea is to reach those who would be willing to entertain a patient for an afternoon or evening visit in a home atmosphere. "Project - Visit" was ap- proved this week by the WPH Administrator Milton J. Fisher. From a carefully selected list a number of adult patients, male and female, middle-aged to elderly, without relatives or friends in this area, are eligible for this Christmas treat. Only those patients who have the full approval of their unit doctor and who have been carefully selected will be allowed to accept invitations. . The host or hostess is asked to provide the trans- portation and to keep the visit within reasonable hours.
