The treasurer's re- port was very good. Thank you cards were read for the Christmas boxes delivered by MargaretAnn Lamb. The coffee spoons will soon be availble and a new rug for the church verstibile to be purchased. There will be a money making project in April. The meeting closed with theme and prayer and a lovely lunch was served by Laura, Jean and Fanny. The next meeting at Mrs. Fanny Stevens home. U.C.W. They were Mrs. Cyril O'Connor of Oshawa who was transferred from Oshawa General Hos- pital and Mrs. Amelia Wal- ker of Uxbridge who was transferred from St. John's Convalesant Hospital in Wil- lowdale. There were no discharges. On Tuesday evening mem- bers of Prince Albert United Church choir attended the home and entertained us with a delightful evening. Choir members included; Mr. Grimshaw, Mr. and Mrs. Snelgrove, Mrs. Wozney, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Newn- ham. They started the even- ing by singing some old fashioned hymns. Mrs. Snel- grove was at the piano. This was followed by two violin solos from Mr. Snelgrove. Then Mr. Snelgrove showed some very interesting slides of his trip to Florida and the Bahamas. Mrs. Snelgrove acted as narrator. A very lovely lunch was served by the ladies to wind up the evenings entertain- ment. It was truly a marve- lous evening and was greatly appreciated by the residents. Thursday evening we held our weekly bingo! Altogether there were nine prizes han- ded out. These were won by; John Preston, Harry Snow- den, Mrs. Mackie, Mrs. Pearcey, John Kelly, Her- man Abbott, Mrs. Balgue and Bill Moroz. The following residents were taken to supper by friends and relatives; during the week; Edna Pearcey, John Kelly, Grant Christie, Shaw Hamilton, Ethel Ten- nyson, W.H.
