ASHBURN NEWS The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper was observed at Burns Church last Sunday morning. Mr. Michael Bulley took his vows 'into the membership of the church. Rev. Black's sermon title was "Supernatural Forgive- ness." The Commemoration Day Service is planned for - Sunday, April 8th. This date celebrates the Fifth Anniversary of the Opening of our new sanctuary. The community were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Mr. Norman Anderson, who passed away at his sister's home in Toronto, February 26th. He. will be greatly missed in the church and the community. Mrs. E. Heron attended a W.M.S. meeting of the Evening Department of East and West Toronto Presby- terials, in Wychwood Pres- byterian Church, on Satur- day, February 24th. The guest speaker was Miss Charlotte Stuart, deaconess of Queen Street East Church, Toronto. Several of the' ladies attended a Lucky Luncheon Tea, held in Myrtle United Church, February 28.
