After a huge serving chicken, potatoes, vegetables, pie or ice cream and milk, they were more Obituary Joseph Prouse Wilson Joseph Prouse Wilson passed away at Cottage Hospital in Uxbridge on March 4, 1973 after an illness of one week. He was born in Reach Township on March 12, 1889 son of the late Solomon and Sarah Wilson and married the former Mary Loretta Wagner on March 25, 1914. For the past 25 years the couple have lived in Ux- bridge where he did carpen- try work for 14 years. Prior to that the couple farmed on the 7th concession of Reach for several years. Mr. wuson served as councillor on the Reach Township Council for many years and held a great interest in the Bible Club Movement. He helped plan and build camp buildings and was identified with Epsom United and then several Uxbridge Churches. He carried a continued interest in young people and his Christian influence on his children and grandchildren will be lifelasting. Surviving are his wife Mary, sons Elmer and Earl of Epsom, Roy of Pembroke, daughters Ruby who spent 20 years as a missionary in Nigeria, and Olive (Mrs. Lawrence vans) both of Uxbridge; 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; also a brother Albert E. Mr. Louis Sherman and his wife Miriam of Toronto and Miss Darlene Christie called on Mrs. Sherman's cousin Mrs. Lester Baylis in Greenbank and on Darlene's parents in Epsom on Saturday afternoon.
