PORT PERRY STAR -- Wednesday, March 21,1973 -- 5 LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Cafik comments Dear Sir: Recently Anne Wanstall from Claremont sent a letter to your paper which I believe needs to b e answered. She created the impression that the Airport issue is a question that I have ignored simply because I did not include the subject in my recent Parliamentary Re- ports. May I point out that no Member of Parliament in respect to any other issue affecting his Riding has ever spent more time trying to resolve the question. I have forwarded mailing on this subject to everyone in the Riding on May 15, 1972, June, July and September. In addition to this I secured an Independant Hearing which would deal with this question as well as the transportation needs in the whole metro-Toronto area. The fact that I did not deal with the question in my latest Parliamentary Report is simply an indication that the issue has been flogged to death. Miss Wanstall's letter is not only inflammatory but Here's Something Worth Shouting About! We are having a PANELLIN SALE oot these fantastic prices on panelling and accessories ALL WOOD, stupid, particularly when she deals with the question of Winter Works, where she relates the value of the + project to the number of jobs created and comes up with a figure that she seems to present as an annual income. Surely it is not asking too much for her to realize that these projects are for a limited time only and that to make such calculations is to miss the point altogether. Yours sincerely, Norm Cafik, M.P.
