Announcement The publisher of the Port Perry Star is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Arnold to the position of editor. When Mr. Arnold was * engaged as a reporter about three months ago it was anticipated he would receive this appointment. He has already made a name for himself in this community, favourable as well as controversial, but we are certain Mr. Arnold will fill his position to the satisfaction of the publisher as well as all Star readers. Mr. Arnold has recently moved his wife and four children to this area and they are now occupying a home about three miles north of Port Perry.
