The 1st Scugog Cubs and Scouts Father and Son banquet was held in Prince Albert United Church on Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Thompson were guests at the banquet. Mr. Hillis Wilbur and Mr. Jim Philip are glad to return to work after several months at home recuperating from surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sutcliffe were dinner guests of Mr. and M rs. Jack Miller of Mississauga, and Mrs. Clair Brockman of Courtice at Bowmanville on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bailey called on Mr. and Mrs. Bill Asling at Whitby and Mr. Horace Searle at Oshawa on Tuesday and Mrs. Howard Forsythe on. Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sutcliffe visited Mrs. Melvin James 'and Mrs. Fred Pearce of Port Perry recently. On Friday evening Utica Broomball team sponsored a dance in Utica Community Hall. On Saturday evening Miss Sharon Sweetman and Mr. Bill Wannamaker were guests at a pre-wedding party in their honour in Utica - Hall.
