At the last village council meeting councillor Reg Rose ex: pressed concern about the possibility of such a devel- opment polluting Port Perry's water supply. Mr. Rose wanted council to talk to Reach about it. "It is there land," com- mented Mr. Rose," and 1 don't want to interfere with their business. but it is our water." Deputy Reeve Phil Orde said there has been dis- cussion of the proposal by members of County Council. No action was taken of councillor Rose's sugges- tion.
