A special meeting of the Carwtwright ~~ Council at Blackstock was held June 12, 1973. The major issue was the the passing of a By-Law to borrow $25,000 from the Federal-Provincial Capital Projects Fund. The application for the loan was made to the Treasurer of Ontario to assist in financing the pro- ject of constructing the "Nestleton Community Centre." Another issue concerned the new boundaries for the new Region of Durham.
