6 - PORT PERRY STAR - Wednesday, August 22, 1973 News from Seagrave Our village and surround ings are still enjoying a holiday from all community activities but some individ- uals are moving around a bit. Mrs. Gladys Short accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Short of Port Perry on a trip to the west last week. Mrs. Boe has been making good use of her holiday time too. On Aug. 4, she with her son Carl and his family went to Barrie to attend an antique sale put on by her nephew, Mr. Milford Sleep. The next day all journeyed to the Carl Boe home in Kingston and during that week the same group spent several days in the State of Vermont. Mrs. Boe returned home on Wednesday, 15th. Last Sunday, Mrs. Boe was one from this com- munity who attended Decoration services at Greenbank cemetery. Later she entertained Mr. and Mrs. Dow Boe, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Boe and Mrs. Fleeta Sleep for dinner. A number of interested people attended the Decoration Services at Pleasant Point on Sunday afternoon. The Wanamaker's grand- children from Oshawa keep coming back to Seagrave.
