During the same week there were 4 break ins, 5 thefts were reported and police investigated 3 distur- bances. Six drivers were charge with being impaired and 10 liquor violations were checked out. It has been noted of late that people are leaving the road- sides littered with garbage, and even more serious, are forgetting to put out their fires. Littering the roadside, and this includes refuse left by picnickers, is against the law, and a stiff monetary penalty can result from this litterring.
