I am delighted to report that our friend and neigh- bour, Mr. George Bowers, is displaying a vast improve- ment in the Community Hospital in Port Perry. Mr. Bowers suffered a heart attack recently. Bowers has finally had that cumbersome cast removed from her wrist. Seven weeks is quite a long time to be deprived of the use of an arm. Get well wishes are conveyed to Mrs. Bowers also. Our deepest sympathy is extended to Mrs. Elmer Fowler upon her recent beverement. May God in His infinite mercy be with her at this time. The entire community is shocked and saddened to hear of the demise of six year old Jay Bailey. Jay passed away following heart surgery a few days ago. Our's is not to reason why, but to ask God to help Mr. and Mrs. I. Bailey in this their dreadful hour of sor- row. An impromptu meeting in " the home of Sr. Anne Lee, Nestleton, was held by the members of Court Lady Snowbird on Tuesday eve- ning. Items on the agenda were far to numerous to settle at one meeting. It was decided to hold another meeting of upcoming events shall be complete. The Forester's annual Christmas bazaar and tea is to be held on Nov. 22nd, in the Nestleton Presbyterian church basement. The pre- Christmas dance is on December the 1st in the Blackstock rec centre. A bus trip to a textile manuact- urer plant is planned for some time in Oct. This also tifle it.
