ALS Ladies mix golf with fun The Ladies Golf season ended on Tuesday of last week at Sunny Brae Golf and Country Club with a fun tournament in the after- noon and a banquet in the evening. This game was consider- ably closer than the score would indicate as Domville * had 4 hits and the local team had 4 hits. Ted Birchett pitched the Laurie Williams suffered the loss for Port Perry. Birchell on the move for Domville was quite fortu- nate time and time against the aggressive Port batters connected with solid smashes only to have Domville fields come up with good catchers. Laurie Williams was again the top hitter for Van Camp Jrs. with a single and son had a double and Neil Clarke collected a single. Even in defeat this was a rewarding season for Manager MacMillan and Coach Wayne Venning who brought the team along all season with slowly improv- ing softball and received much satisfaction by reaching the All-Ontario Semi-finals and seeing vast improvement in all players Secretary, Joan Christie; Treas., Eleanor Davidson. Swiss team to play here Port Pery's Midget hoc- key team will take on the, Midgets from Wallisellen, Switzerland in Port Perry arena at 7:30 p.m. January 16. Minor hockey association' presdient Charles Bourgeois confirmed this week that the Swiss team will play here as part of its 10 day tour of the area. Other games will be played at Oak Ridges, Campbellford, Oshwegan and Stouffville.
