Following a roast beef dinner prepared by the Legion ladies, over 25 trophies and prizes were handed out to members who during the past year had dis- played their skills at such games as Bowling, Cribbage, Pool, Shuffle Board etc. Vin Walker, vice pregi- dent of O.A.S.A. Minor S#ft- ball, presented the Legion a plaque in recognition of the sponsorship of ball teams and said that it was much appreciated. "It is one of our duties to help in sponso- ring minor sport activities, i and it is our pleasure to be able to do this," replied president of the Legion, Mike Hlozan. With full stomachs, and arms filled with trophies, the "Good Sports' of the Legion rounded off their evening with a dance. Port Perry football seniors win five straight games Port Perry came out in the second half ready to go and scored a touchdown on the first sequence of plays. Port Perry's defense held Ajax deep in their own half of the field for most of the second half and finally went ahead to stay on a field goal by Scott Howsam.
