Roberts Nursing Home News The Friendly Visitors of Prince Albert donated place mats for Christmas. They were nicely decorated with Christmas scenes and a chocolate Santa Claus attached to each. Thank you very much. The Baptist minister, Rev. Payne held -a Tuesday evening. There were films shown with hymns and they all joined in the singing. A plaque was presented to the Home. Mrs. Wallace came Wed- nesday afternoon and showed us how to make miniature Christmas Orna- ments for the Christmas tree. We had a visit from the boys and girls of Port Perry singing carols. The patients have made small table Christmas trees to be sold for 2 dollars each. Mrs. Weir was the good lady who taught us how. Scugog Island Sunday School children came with baskets of fruit, which was much appreciated. We had our usual Bingo night, the prizes were won by the following. Mrs. Smallman, Mrs. Byers, Mr. Christie (2) Mrs. Belque, Mr. Abbott, Bill Morog, Mrs. Phoenix. We enjoyed a display of Baton Twirling under the direction of Miss B. Mec- Knight. A carol singing by the Kinettes and Kinsmen from Port Perry 'and Prince Albert. Mr. Faber and the I.G.A. sent Fruit Baskets which were given out by the Sun. girls. INVEST NOW!
