The PC nominating meeting has been scheduled for Jan. 30 in the Uxbridge High School but it is reported it will likely be held earlier if an election is called within the next couple of weeks. The latest to enter the battle for the PC candidacy is lain Grant, son of Dr. and Mrs. W.G.Y. Grant of Brooklin. He is now completing his undergraduate education at 'the University of Winnipeg, and his main courses are in the fields of political science and public administration. Announcing his intention to run for the candidacy in a letter to the Ajax Progessive Conservative Association Grant said he was employed by both the Ontario and Manitoba governments and the Manitoba PC association for various periods during the past four years.
