Skylab scientists have advanced the "glue" theory for its lack of brillance. They claim that a chemical reaction may have taken place on the surface of Kohoutek, preventing it from shedding dust and gases which would make it expand and enlarge its tail. The Sky Lab Astronauts have already expressed exreme disappointment over its dimness. Kohoutek is now only as bright as an average star. In fact, by the time this article is printed, it may be almost invisible to the naked eye. Comet watchers in Port Perry were not disappointed last Friday, however, as it did appear clear and bright within seconds of sunset. It resembled a small vapour trail in the W.S.W. sky. Kohoutek rapidly disappea- red into a cloud base on the horizon. The telescopes at Port Perry High School will aid in observing the comet. - New Rates ONTARIO TRUST % 3-4-5 Yrs, Guaranteed Investments MEMBER CANADA DEPOSIT INSURANCE expressed his regret that the Queen will be on tor out of Britain at that particular time.
