It is here that we became real tourists and saw all the major tourist attractions. We were given one night to test the night life in Stock- holm. The morals may differ slightly to other countries, but people basically strive for the same thing: happi- ness. 1 have only mentioned a few of my experiences and am sorry I can not totally express the feelings and all the new knowledge I gained in the two weeks I was in Europe. Although 1 was there six months ago I can still remember most of what we did. It is two weeks of my life that I'll never forget. The Canadian Cadets received quite a thrill when they became part of this Swedish Destroyer's crew for one day. Nursing Home News Mrs. D"Andrade has added anew member to her staff in the past few months. She is Mrs. Weir of Toronto, a physts theropist, efficient, kind, and very popular, Mrs. Weir comes to the Home twice a week and gives exercises to the lame parts of the patients, and also body exercises to help normal fitness. Her help is also invaluable in advise about ill fitting shoes, braces and splints. She not only tells the patients what to do, but takes the articles to Toronto with her, and brings them back corrected the next week. - The twenty-ninth being the fifth Tuesday in the month is probably the reason for not having a religious ser- vice. The ministers have arranged to each take the service the same Tuesday of each month -- but as there are so few months with five Tuesdays, that day is left out. Thursday was 'Bingo night" -- a grand new game has been provided -- big brass .cage, and large distinct numbers on balls the size of ping-pong balls. This week's winners, Masdames Clark, Pheonix, Pearcey and Letcher. Messrs. Doupe, Moroz, Abbott and Hamil- ton. A large crowd attended the evening of Musical variety by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Scarborough in Port Perry last week. Mrs. Charles Phoenix reported that she enjoyed the evening very much. Mr. Donald Blakely with his parents over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Real visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Dobson at Magneta- wan on Sunday. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ken Rodd on the arrival of a new grandson. Sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Mount on the death of his sister Mrs. Shirley Forfar of New- market.
