Receiving them ffom this area were Mr. and Mrs. Lambertus Hoog, R.R. 1, Nestleton and Mrs. Jennie Ellen Wray of 21 Church St. Columbus. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Quin- ton and family who have been resident of Port Perry for the past three years have sold their home and will be moving to Castleton, just norht of Colborne. Mrs. Quin- ton who has been very active in the Guide movement both as a Guider and Commis- sioner in the district will be missed. Much happiness is wished to them in their new location. Members of the Port Perry Sea Cadets spent an enjoy- able day on Sunday flying in a Cesna 100 from the Green- bank airport. The 2nd Company of Port Perry Girl Guides, under the leadership of Captain Anne Wanninkhoff are leaving for Montreal by bus on March 9. They will be staying at Guide House in Montreal for three days. Much work and plan- ning plus a fund raising drive has been the girls' agenda for the past few months and with a generous donation of $100.00 from the Royal Can- adian Legion Br. 419 the trip was made possible. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Samells have just returned from a holiday in Texas at Weslaco by the Gulf of Mexico. They visitéd Georg- e's cousins the Everetts and Fred Mountjoys.
