He is able to be up a little and hopes to be home by the end of the week. Miss Ida Wray made a short visit there too but is home again and all is fine. Staying with the Wray family over the week end were a neice Mrs. Myrtle Mountgomery and her daughter Darlene from Sutton, West. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Short and Mrs. Gladys Short had supper on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Gary Twiner of Uxbridge and later visited the funeral chapel to pay last respects to a friend, Mr. J. Walker. The Nodwells entertained their grandson Steven Hil- bert of Hamilton during the holiday week. . Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sweetman and family of Streetsville were guests of the Ken Sturman family over the week end. And what is this we have been hearing about Gary's father, Gord Sweetman? The B.L. Wanamakers stayed at home this week but did some entertaining. It was all family -- Lynda and Mary Lee of Oshawa for a little holiday, their parents Ron, and Leona on Saturday, Neil's family and Bill and Sharon on Sunday. If you would like to save a life, attend the blood donor clinic on April 3rd at the United Church Hall in Port Perry. The Kinsmen are hoping for a good response. We extend greetings to Mrs. Mabel Reynolds, a former resident now living in town whose birthday comes on Thursday. unit 2, U.C.W. met at the Ron Crosier home on Wed- nesday and did a little bus- "ness but the evening was spent mainly in a social way 'and in crochet. Their "Come-as-you-are" party will be in full swing about the time this paper is deliv- ered. They have ordered a nice mild day for those who were caught in bed. Unit 1, U.C.W. met scheduled at Mrs. Len Som- Epsom Paper Drive. Please help our Cub Scout Group who will be around Saturday morning, March 30 for their collection.
