This was a recorder band of ten boys and girls, the teacher leading. this was the sweetest music, and was received with great enthusiasm. Mr. Kiesebrink read the scripture from Luke, Chap- ter 23. verses 33 to 38, and Matthew. Chapter 28, verses 1-6. The children's choir lead by Mrs. Kiezebrink was Cperteet" what more can one say! Then we had a hymn, and the chairman in- troduced Mr. Rang. the speaker of the evening, who has spoken to us before. Mr. Rang gave an Easter sermon, leading up to the Crucifixion, and new things to think about on that sub- Jeet. and very interesting. A hymn was sung at this time. Mr. John Den Boer closed this part of the meeting in prayer. Mrs. Hiemstra charmed us with her cello. Two children" of Black- stock each played a solo. The. little girl on her beauti- ful clarinet and the boy on his -trumpet. They were so dignified and did so well -- each got a lot of applause. Mr. Christie thanked the Christian Reformed Church for coming to us and also for the special time they took in bringing such a fine program. The service was closed by singing 'He leadeth Me'. Mrs. Weir had. the west end screened off soit looked like a nice sized living room, with subdued lights, flowers, and a table all fixed up "pretty like" candles, glass and china. When introductions were made all around, a corsage was pinned on each of the "April ladies", then Miss Joblin told of her trip to Rome. where she was going. one of agroup, to attend a seminar to further study of Christian Ethics. She missed her first plane where she was to meet the rest of the group - luggage had gone on of course.
