Spectators will be in for a rare treat as the participants in the new Racing class churn through the check- points at an almost unbelie- vable pace. the progress of all canoes through a radio link-up with all check-points, starting at 7:30 a.m. The prize ceremony will take place at the lake-front in Port Perry at about 4 p.m. Mavor Lawrence Malcolm will present Cash Prizes in the new Racing Class. These prizes were donated by the Council of Scugog. Other prizes will be presented by their donors or representa- tives. and the winner of the, 14° canoe will be drawn.
