On Friday morning, as the day was beginninite feel the sun's warmth, I glanced out "of "our kitchen ~windown;," feeling rather dubious as to just what the unpredictable weather had in store for us, when my eyes beheld a sight that would assure even an Atheist that there is a Su- preme Being far greater than we could possibly imagine. Adorning our blos- som laden apple tree were hundreds of bees busily polinating as several cana- ries, orioles, blue birds, (which are a rarity of late) and a tiny hummingbird announced in beauteous way the prelude to summer's , birth. This is indeed country living at it's utmost. On Saturday evening in the Blackstock Recreation Centre a capacity crowd attended the hockey banquet given by Mr. K. Jackson of 2 Flamingo Pastries, - to honour the young players 'and their coaches.
