The trip was prearranged by Okela and was carried out with out a flaw. At Perth, we stopped for breakfast and a walk. Then on to Ottawa where we were met by Mr. Ron Hock who spoke to us and answred many questions. He-gave us each a flag and the Pack a new Canadian Flag. We were then taken to Confederation Building for lunch. After lunch we toured the Center Block, Common Chambers, Senate Cham- bers, Peace Tower, Memor- ial Chambers. Then on to the Royal Canadian Mint for a tour. Next to Government House, home of Governer General and Chief Scout. We were supposed to have met the Chief but he had left that morning for Vancouver. We toured the Government House and presented his aid with 'History of Ontario County" on behalf of our Scouters Club, Scouts and Cubs in Pineridge area. On the return trip, a stop was made at Perth for supper, again a stop at Peterboro arriving home at 11:30 p.m. We had a swell day and we thank our driver Bob Cou- perthwaite for his job, Akela Lynn Betty Donna for watching over us.
