June 23rd, Mal- mont Farms Atoms were the guests of their sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Malcolm of R. R. No. 1. Blackstock. The hockey players and their parents gathered at the farm about three o'clock in the afternoon. The swim- ¢ § Ming pool was soon alive with the bobbling heads cot the boys enjoying a swim while the fathers played baseball and visited. The shuffleboard court was the choice of those wishing less strenuous enjoyment. The dinner bell tolled three times and the rush was on as 40 some people lined up for a delicious buffet meal. ¢ . After everyone had fini- shed their coffee and pop, Mr. Malcolm thanked all the boys for the fine manner in which they represented Mal- mong Farms over the vear. He then presented individual trophies to each player and also to the team .coaches, manager and stick boy. The manager then presented Mr. Malcolm with a team pic- ture on behalf of all the boys and their parents, thanking him for his interest and sponsorship in the Port Perry Minor Hockey and in particular, the sponsoring ol the Atom Allstars. The coach then added his thanks on behalf of every- one for the support Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm gave the team and for the delightful day enjoved. The team captain stole the show with a personal thank vou to Mrs. Malcolm on behalf of everyone, for such a delicious meal. It was then back to the pool for the bovs. A shuffleboard tournament was arranged for the parents and after some heated, champions along with the runners-up, were presented with very suitable prizes for their skills. ¢ ® FRANK VALE HA.
