Gilham Stouffville Missionary Church was the scene of a lovely double ring ceremony. May 18, 1974, when Colleen Ina Gilham, daughter of Mrs. Fred Gilham, Stouff- ville became the bride of Robert Stanley Grills, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Grills, Port Perry. Rev. John Hamilton officiated at the 11:30 a.m. ceremony. The church was beautiful- ly decorated with a bouquet of gladioli and mums. White bows and carnations decora- ted the pews. Given in marriage by her youngest brother, John Gil- ham of Stouffville, the bride looked radiant in a white polyester crepe gown ap- pliqued with lace around the collar, sleeves and train. Bridesmaids were: Mrs. Beverly Gilham, sister-in- law of the bride, Miss Barh- ara Diamond, aunt of the Groom and Miss Elain Bril- linger, cousin of the bride. They were dress similarly in pink. The matron of honor and bridesmaids wore matching floppy straw hats. They all carried white wick- er baskets arranged with yellow daisies and baby's breath. The groom's hest man was Mr. Terry Howsam of Osha- wa. Ushers were: Mr. Paul Gilham, brother of the bride, Mr. Keith Grills, brother of the groom and Mr. Gordon Williamson friend of the groom. All wore dark blue Tuxcedoes. The wedding music was played by Mrs. Joyce Mc- Dowell and the soloist was Mrs. Edith Lewis. Solos, included 'Bless This Coup- le." She piped the bride and groom out of the church and also played several numbers at the re- ception following at the Stou- ffville Masonic Hall. The bride's mother re- ceived guests wearing a polyester deep rose jacket dress with black accessories. She wore a corsage of pale pink roses. The grooms mother chose an aqua blue crepe dress with sheer sle- eves and wore white acces- sories. She had a corsage of pink and white roses. For the honeymoon to the» Bahama Islands the bride chose a coral and white suit with tan accessiries. She wore a white rose corsage. The happy couple are now residing at 9th line north in Stouffville. | Pereman On July 13, 1974, Marilyn Elaine Pereman, , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pereman of Columbus, Ont- ario exchanged wedding vows with Irwin Lloyd Sthith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Smith of R. R. No. 2, Port Perry, Ontario. The marriage took place at 4:00 p.m. at Columbus United Church with Rev. J.C. Hill officiating. The groom sang "Let It Be Me," as the bride, given in marriage by her father, walked down the aisle. The bride wore a formal gown of Chantilly Lace, complimented by a three- tiered veil and Juliet Head- piece of matching lace. Cindy Richards of R. R. No. 1, Oshawas was the Flowergirl. The Best Man was Peter Heron, of Brooklin and the ushers were Bill Booth of Oakville, Ron Pereman, and Brian Pereman, both of Columbus. The reception took place at the United Auto Workers Hall in Oshawa, Ontario. The happy couple are re- siding at R. R.
