So while they were off on their adventures Mrs. Mabel Sweetman and Mrs. Frances Aldred decided to take a trip to Winnipeg. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Ballman and renewed friendship with Mrs. Bertha Valentine who formerly lived on Scugog . across from the Sweetmans. After returning home, on a recent Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sweetman'pf Windsor, Mary and Stewart Sweetman of Scugog called to visit and exchange stories of their experiences. We are glad to report that Mrs. Ethel Redman has had her surgery in Toronto and seems to be recovering quite ~ well after the first couple of days of upset. A vehicle driven by Aaron Hurst, 19, of 208 Queen Street was stopped on Queen Street waiting for a car to turn into the Brewers' Retail store when the Van Camp vehicle struck his car in the rear.
