Friday, November 8th, West Rouge paid a return visit to Port and went home with a 4 to 1 victory. West Rouge opened the scoring early in the first period and took a 2 to 0 lead at the 7:45 mark of the second period. Port got back in the game at 13:01 on a goal by Burnett from Brown. In a reversal of the first game, it was West Rouge who got stronger in the final - period. as they scored two more goals to wrap up the victory. Saturday, November 9th, the Legion team travelled to Bowmanville for an exhibit- ion game and were trounced 8-3 by Bowmanville Major Pee Wees. This is the same team that Port had previous- ly beaten 5 to 4 at home. Bowmanville were certainly a different team than the one we defeated earlier at home and possibly our boys were a; little tired after a tough game against West Rouge the night before. Uxbridge scored one goal in the first period. In the second period, Port Perry scored a goal by Sean Taylor, assisted by Doug Bronson and Peter Van Weston.
